The results were unbelievable. Namely the first group, the one who consumed cumin with their yogurt, lost 14 pounds more than the group who consumed their yogurt without cumin.
Research is even more impressive when you consider the fact that the participants in the first group lost more fat 14.64 percent than the other group lost 4.91 percent fat.
This is mainly because the cumin is rich in filosterole. At this point you need to know that the filosterole has the ability to prevent retention of cholesterol in your body. According to many scientists this is the reason why cumin can speed up your metabolism.
