Nobody wants to feel the pain headaches offer. So, each time you get a headache, there is something different. The pain takes over your head, but sometimes the spot and the intensity are different. This may show that you are on the verge of developing a serious health issue.
If in case you wake up with a headache each morning you better check it with your doctor. This may indicate sleep apnea, high blood pressure, or even brain tumor.
Types of headaches:

  • Pain in the half of your head – if in case you suffer from a constant headache that targets only the half of your head, then it might be a sign of migraine. The pain will be recognized as it is constant and can last up to 72 hours. It slowly starts with moderate strength and transforms into severe. It is common to have nausea and noise sensitivity.
  • Pain in the back of your head – if in case you experience issues with your neck or spine it will eventually lead to a headache. This appears among people who have a sitting job and the headache appears due to sitting for too long. If you have not gotten up for a longer period of time you better stretch a little bit by doing some simple movements or stretching your head.
  • Forehead pain – this is the most common type of headache which is caused by inflamed sinuses. You can feel it on the cheekbones and your forehead. Take a steamy shower or do an inhalation to improve your condition instantly.
  • Feeling like someone is squeezing your head – this headache is from tension which holds that nervous medium intensity of pain while you feel like someone is squeezing your head. This occurs due to large stress. Nice sleep will make you feel better.
  • Pain on one side of the face and swollen eyelids – this is a seasonal headache which is strong and lasts in cycles . The pain can be felt from two weeks and up to a month. The headache will come and go in certain periods of the year and the pain duration is different each day. It will usually appear at the same time of the day or night.

You can keep a dairy of your headaches to help you determine what is wrong with you. You should include how often they appear, at what time, the point of pain, how strong it was, and how long it lasted. Your doctor will be able to diagnose your headache based on this information.
