PEOPLE HAVE BEEN USING BORAX FOR OVER 100 YEARS TO CLEAN THEIR HOME AND FOR USE IN THEIR LAUNDRY AND I PERSONALLY HAVE NO PROBLEM USING IT IN MY HOMEMADE PRODUCTS. Borax is anything but dull. Probably you have seen it in a cleaning aisle several times and just passed right by it. You wouldn’t do that if you know how amazing Borax is. It consists of sodium, oxygen, water, and boron, so it is all natural production. It is a deodorizer, a laundry booster, a stain remover, it kills mold.
It does so many other things. HERE ARE SOME WAYS TO USE BORAX: Toilet Bowl Cleaner Splash 1 cup of borax into the toilet bowl in the evening, before you go to sleep. The following morning, use a brush to clean out the toilet bowl. The borax will loosen all the dirt buildup. Carpet Cleaning
Use a 1/2 cup of Borax per gallon of water in carpet steam cleaning machines. Clean Mold and Mildew. Combine 1 cup of borax with 1 quart of hot water and pour it into a spray bottle. Sprinkle the mold and mildew until it’s saturated, wait several hours, then rinse thoroughly. DIY Cookware Scrub Spray Borax on and let it stay for a few minutes. Brush it carefully with a cloth or a soft sponge and then wash it well. Borax really helps remove buildup. You won’t regret trying this out! Pests Keep roaches, waterbugs, and ants away by sprinkling a combination of equal parts all-natural borax and sugar. Remove Laundry Stains Stir 1 tbsp of borax with 2 tablespoons of water, and spread it on the stain. Let it sit for half an hour, then rub it off and wash as normal. White Pillows Our clothing isn’t the only thing that can yellow and grow dingy-looking over time; our pillows do it, too! Since we all sleep better on a pillow that looks and feels clean, whiten yours with a Borax solution like the one you used on your clothes.
