Essential oils and aromatherapy can support in cancer healing in a vast variety of different ways, including stress relief and emotional support.
However, one of them possesses a value much more significant than just a fragrant incense. It demonstrates powerful anti-cancer effects by acting directly on cancer cells, preventing growth or even promoting apoptosis (cancer cell death) – Frankincense essential oil!
Frankincense oil is a type of essential oil obtained from trees of the genus Boswellia Carteri. It originates from India, Africa, and the Middle East.

The main health benefits of frankincense oil can be attributed to the following properties:
  • Anti-inflammatory
  • Astringent
  • Antiseptic
  • Disinfectant
  • Digestive
  • Expectorant
  • Diuretic
Frankincense essential oil therapy
Frankincense essential oil is one of the most effective natural cancer treatments. And now research trials proving it’s an essential treatment for:
  • Brain cancer
  • Breast cancer
  • Colon cancer
  • Ovarian cancer
  • Pancreatic cancer
  • Prostate cancer
  • Stomach cancer
The scientists from the Department of Urology at the University of Oklahoma have made some astounding discoveries through their research on the frankincense essential oil.
Here are just a few of the findings:
  • Frankincense oil (Boswellia carteri) causes bladder tumor cell death, while the oil derived from Boswellia sacra causes breast cancer cell death without harming healthy cells.
  • Sacred Frankincense oil (Boswellia sacra) hinders the faulty signaling and cell cycle control that is thought to cause the development of cancer in the first place.
  • Sacred Frankincense oil (Boswellia sacra) makes it hard for cancer cells to develop networks and disrupts cancer cell development, potentially making it effective as a defense against advanced cancers as well as for cancer prevention.
According to scientists from the Leicester University in the UK, the chemical responsible for the anti-cancer activity of Frankincense oil is acetyl-11-keto-beta-boswellic acid (AKBA for short). AKBA triggers the cells of cancer and kills them, without damaging healthy cells.
According to scientists, the potential cancer-killing effects of frankincense is due in part to its ability to influence your genes to promote healing. Cancer scientists emphasize that this potency makes Boswellia serrata a viable candidate for both cancer prevention and treatment!
A 2011 study found that frankincense essential oil can offer a much safer alternative to this medication. In the study, 60 percent of patients had an improvement rate of at least 75 percent in their level of brain swelling. These results are so astonishing that scientists urge to the doctors to prescribe frankincense oil instead of corticosteroids to the patients that undergo radiation treatment.

For the treatment of cancer, consume three drops in a glass of water three times daily. Also, rub frankincense essential oil on your neck three times daily.
