This are breaking news! According to several reports, the popular Sargento cheese has recalled their packages as the product may have been contaminated with listeria, a deadly type of bacterium. The bacterium is especially bad for pregnant people, the elderly and people with a weakened immune system. If you have any of the following products in your fridge, throw them out immediately! If you like, you can contact the company for reimbursement. Here are the recalled products:
– Sargento Ultra Thin Slice Longhorn Colby
– Sargento Chef Blends Shredded Nacho & Taco Cheese

– Sargento Slice Colby-Jack Cheese
– Sargento Slice Pepper Jack Cheese
– Sargento Chef Blends Shredded Taco Cheese
– Sargento Off The Block Shredded Fine Cut Colby-Jack Cheese
– Sargento Off the Block Shredded Fine Cut Cheddar Jack Cheese

At the moment, there are no other Sargento products recalled, and luckily, there haven’t been any fatalities. Check your fridge right now and throw out any of the above listed products!
