When it comes to choosing the right breakfast, you should know that it needs to energize the organism for the rest of the day and to be rich in health benefits.  The recipe we’ve prepared for you today is precisely that- it has the power to regulate the blood sugar levels, reduce the level of bad cholesterol, and aid the removal of surplus belly fat.

Why Is Breakfast Important?

Skipping breakfast is not good because you won’t have the needed energy to feel energized throughout the rest of the day. Breakfast is an important meal because it betters the functioning of the brain, regulates the weight, and supplies you with the needed nutrients.

The Recipe

You will need:
A cup of oats
2 cups of water
2 tsp of vanilla powder
2 tbsp of honey
A pinch of sea salt
4 tbsp of Chia seeds
Preparation:
Put the water, cinnamon, and vanilla powder in a pot and bring it boil. Then, lower the heat and add the oats and then leave it to boil for another 5 minutes. Next, remove it from the heat, cover it, and wait 5 minutes. Afterwards, add the honey and salt and stir the mixture well and transfer it into a bowl. While still hot, add the Chia seeds.

The Benefits of the Breakfast

Both Chia seeds and oats are very healthy and speed up the metabolism and strengthen the immunity. They also have weight loss properties, i.e. they melt surplus fat and encourage weight loss. Moreover, oatmeal is rich in beta-glucan, a soluble fiber which has the power to balance the blood sugar levels, lower the bad cholesterol, and make the heart stronger. It’s rich in protein, minerals, and fiber as well.
Chia seeds have omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids and have more calcium than any other dairy product. They improve the functioning of the heart and have potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory characteristics. They’re an excellent food for people who suffer from arthritis and high levels of cholesterol.
